About Us

Our History

We have a storied history spanning over two decades. What began in a rented house in Benton has grown into an independent organization, yet we have always maintained the same vision—changing hearts and saving precious preborn lives.

  • 2003. The missions team of the Central Baptist Association started New Beginnings.
  • 2006. New Beginnings purchased the current Resource Center building.
  • 2016. We purchased an ultrasound machine, and volunteer nurses and ultrasound technologists started offering free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds.
  • 2022. It was clear that the organization needed to become independent.
  • January 1, 2023. New Beginnings established a Board of Directors, created organizational documents, and received its IRS designation as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Our board comprises individuals from throughout Saline County who attend various churches. Churches, individuals, local businesses, community grants.

Our Services

All of our services are free to young families.

Pregnancy Services:

  • Lab-quality urine pregnancy testing.
  • Limited obstetrical ultrasound (abdominal and transvaginal for women 6-20 weeks pregnant).
  • Abortion Pill Reversal recommendations.

Other Opportunities:

  • Mothers and fathers have opportunities for education on pregnancy and parenting. They can participate as a client until their youngest child is two years old. Material supplies, such as diapers, clothing, formula, and baby equipment, can be “purchased” with Baby Bucks they earn through the Earn While You Learn program in our Resource Center.
  • Biblical guidance through regular Bible studies is available for both women and men.
  • Women receive referrals to adoption agencies if that is the plan they are seeking.
  • We offer post-abortion healing services, such as one-on-one Bible studies.
  • We have staff members available to help clients with the decision-making process if they are unsure about pregnancy plans.
  • We provide referrals for other available resources throughout our community.

We do not offer or refer for abortions.

With your help, new beginnings are possible.
